I believe photography to be the art of observation.

As photographers, we most often capture elements introduced to the landscape by those who have walked before us; these are moments of appreciation. Subsequently, I am of the view that there are many unheralded photography heroes walking among us: The landowner who had the foresight to plant that trees half a century ago. The commercial painter who offers freshly painted walls. The graffiti artist who introduces a moment of disarray. The architects and trades peoples who construct our sets. And the list goes on.

Colour is an ongoing personal project documenting colour, and acknowledging the artistry of others within the landscape.

Project primarily photographed using a fujifilm X-E3 and 35mm f/2.
